My Story

My name is Ericka Miles, and I am the owner of Pecan Heaven, a Texas Cottage Bakery in Katy, established August 2019.

First and foremost I am a bad ass woman! Second I am a wife, mother of 5, and my family is my #1 priority. As a child I wanted to be chef, I dreamed of cooking good southern food and baking pound cakes. I am the sister/daughter/cousin/friend that loves to host everything at my house, I want all those around me to enjoy good food and good drinks. When I graduated high school I decided to major in accounting and I fell in love with debits and credits, being an accounting major and working in Corporate America for 10+ years has made me a great business woman but I longed to live my dream. On May 23, 2017, my oldest son's health took a turn in a direction no one saw coming, we started the journey of finding out what was wrong, he was later diagnosed with Landau Kleffner & Lennox Gastuat Syndrome. With lots of love, encouragement, and support from family and friends, Pecan Heaven was birthed to help pay for my son's doctor appointments, treatments, provide me with a positive outlet and allow me to live my dream. 

I am a professional who prides myself on creating top quality, imaginative and delicious baked treats, I have been committed to serving up delicious goodies to everyone I encounter.
